Valorant release date is finally announced by Riot Games. The current closed beta was a huge success. Many players from all over the world jumped into the closed beta and tried the new ranked system. After two months of testing in North America region, Riot games decided that they don’t need an open beta to test any further.
Valorant is a 5 vs 5 multiplayer shooters inspired by Counter Strike: Global Offensive. In addition to the hero shooter elements of Overwatch. Instead of playing with generic soldiers you will be playing as a character from a small roster that will expand over the years. Each character has its own abilities which makes for interesting gameplay scenarios and strategic team formations. Many professional players and streamers acknowledged the quality and mechanics of the game. Deeming it an easier and more accessible version of CS:GO. But still difficult enough to master and requires practice for the high competitive gameplay levels. Riot is already organizing international tournaments for the game and planning Valorant’s E-sports future.
What is Valorant release date?
Valorant will be available on June 2, 2020. Riot Games confirmed that the current closed beta will end on May 28. Giving them 4 days to patch new updates and reset players’ progress. With the release date, all new players and current players will walk into the game with fresh accounts even if they made progress with levels or rank in the closed beta.
The game will be accessible to almost all gaming setups as its requirements are not as demanding as other competitive shooters.
